What we're aiming for
We want this website to work for everyone who wants to use it, including people using a screen reader, keyboard navigation, magnification, or a phone with a poor connection.
We've built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our target. [COUNSEL — this is deliberately written as a target rather than a conformance claim. Do not upgrade the wording to "we conform" without an actual audit.]
What that means in practice
- Color contrast. Body text passes AA contrast on every background we use. Our gold accent is used for labels and emphasis only, never for body text, because it doesn't pass.
- Keyboard. Everything you can click, you can reach and operate with a keyboard, and the focus outline is visible.
- Motion. The site has animation — a floating IV bag, a scrolling marquee, cards that lift. All of it stops if your device is set to reduce motion. Nothing important is conveyed by movement alone.
- Images. Photographs have alt text written for someone listening to it, not for a search engine. Decorative images are marked as decorative so a screen reader skips them.
- Text. Real text rather than text baked into images, so it can be resized and read aloud.
- Forms. Labeled fields, errors explained in words, and nothing that depends on color alone.
What we know isn't perfect
Being honest about this is more useful than a clean statement:
- The 3D IV bag on drip pages is a visual object. It's decorative, it has a still image behind it, and the ingredients it illustrates are also listed as text on the same page — so nothing is lost if it doesn't load or you don't see it.
- The "find my drip" quiz and the Build a Bag builder are interactive. We've built them to work by keyboard, and if either gives you trouble, ring us and a nurse will do the same job in a minute over the phone.
- Embedded third-party things — the map, the booking calendar, the financing widget — aren't fully within our control. If one of them blocks you, call or text us and we'll book you directly.
- We haven't yet had a formal independent audit. When we do, we'll say so here.
Getting help another way
Nothing on this website is the only way to reach us. You can always:
- Call or text (870) 345-9905 and speak to a person
- Walk in during opening hours for a drip or a shot
- Ask us to book for you over the phone, including for a consultation
If the website is in your way, that's our problem to fix, not yours to work around.
Getting into the clinic
If you're coming in and there's something we can do to make the visit easier — a quieter time of day, a chair rather than a recliner, someone to meet you at the door — tell us when you book and we'll sort it out.
Tell us when something doesn't work
This is the most useful part of this page. If something on the site or in the clinic doesn't work for you, tell us: (870) 345-9905 · hello@luxmedclinic.com.
Say what you were trying to do and what happened. We'll reply, and we'll tell you honestly whether it's something we can fix quickly or something that'll take longer.
