Microneedling · Skin & Injectables · Wynne, AR

Smoother skin, little downtime.

Medical microneedling at LUX Med Clinic in Wynne, AR uses fine, sterile needles to create controlled micro-channels that prompt your skin to rebuild collagen — softening fine lines, texture, pores and acne scarring. A session takes 45 to 60 minutes with one to two days of redness afterwards, and costs $299, or $799 for a series of three. Most people do a series of three, four to six weeks apart, and can add PRP or an exosome serum for a stronger result.

Microneedling + PRP
The strongest result we offer for texture and scars.
01 — How it works

Controlled micro-injury. Real collagen.

A medical-grade pen, a licensed provider, and a depth set for your skin and your concern — not a roller bought off the internet.

01
Consultation
A skin assessment, your goals, and whether PRP, exosomes or a series makes sense for what’s actually bothering you.
02
Numb
Topical numbing for 20 to 30 minutes. Most people rate the session itself a 2 or 3 out of 10.
03
Treat
The pen passes over the treatment area at a depth set for your concern — shallower for fine lines and tone, deeper for scarring. About 20 to 30 minutes.
04
Soothe
A calming serum, or your own PRP, or the exosome serum if you’ve added it. Aftercare kit and clear instructions to take home.

The exosome add-on

Applied to the skin, never injected.

Topical exosome products are cosmetic and are not FDA-approved drugs. We do not inject exosomes. The serum is applied to the skin straight after your microneedling session, for a smoother, brighter-looking complexion. More about exosomes.

02 — Is it for me?

For texture, tone and scars.

Microneedling rebuilds from within, which means it rewards patience and a series far more than a single visit. Nobody looks different the week after one session.

A good fit if you…

Have acne scarring, enlarged pores or uneven texture

Want fine lines softened without injectables

Have dullness, or early laxity

Can stay out of the sun and out of makeup for 24 to 48 hours afterwards

Wait, or ask first, if you…

Have active acne, cold sores, or any skin infection in the area

Have used isotretinoin (Accutane) in the past six months

Are pregnant or breastfeeding

Have a history of keloid scarring

Are having a wedding or event within two weeks — book it earlier instead

Active acne is a reason to wait, not a reason to book. Needling over inflamed skin can spread bacteria and make things worse. Scarring left behind by acne is what this treats; acne itself needs treating first, and we’ll tell you that rather than taking the appointment.
03 — What to expect

Before, during, and after.

Downtime stated honestly. If a treatment needs a week to look good, we tell you so you can plan around it.

01
Day of
Red and warm, like a moderate sunburn, with a tight feeling. Plan a quiet evening rather than a night out.
02
Days 1–3
Redness fades and light flaking is normal. No makeup for 24 hours, no sun, and no exfoliating anything.
03
Weeks 2–4
Glow and smoother texture appear as new collagen forms. This is the payoff window.
04
After three sessions
The best results for scarring and lines, spaced four to six weeks apart, then maintenance once or twice a year.
Individual results vary, and scarring improves gradually rather than disappearing.

The two upgrades, honestly compared. PRP is made from your own blood, drawn and spun in the room, and costs more because of the draw and the time. The exosome serum is a manufactured cosmetic product applied straight after the session — quicker and cheaper. Neither is a different treatment; both are what goes on the skin at the end.
Cherry financing across a series. HSA/FSA cards are generally not eligible for cosmetic treatments — ask at the desk.

Does microneedling hurt?
Not much. Topical numbing goes on for 20 to 30 minutes first, and most people rate the session a 2 or 3 out of 10 — more pressure and vibration than pain. The forehead and the area around the nose are the most sensitive. Tell your nurse if it’s too much and the depth comes down.
+
Will it get rid of my acne scars?
It softens them, often substantially over a series, and it does not erase them. Deep, sharply defined scars improve less than shallow, rolling ones. We’ll look at yours at the consultation and tell you honestly how much change to expect — and if the honest answer is “less than you’re hoping”, you’ll hear that before you pay for anything.
+
How many sessions do I need?
Three, four to six weeks apart, is the standard plan, then maintenance once or twice a year. Scarring often wants more than three. One session gives you a glow and very little else.
+
Can I have it before a wedding or an event?
Yes, with the timing planned properly: two to three weeks before, not the same week. Redness settles in a day or two, but the visible improvement arrives at weeks two to four, so booking early gets you both. Tell us the date and we’ll work backwards from it.
+
Is it better with PRP or exosomes?
They’re different upgrades, not a ranking. PRP uses your own blood and costs more; the exosome serum is a cosmetic product applied at the end and is quicker and cheaper. Plenty of people do a plain session first to see how their skin responds, then add one next time.
+
Can I use a roller at home instead?
Please don’t. Home rollers can’t reach a useful depth, they’re difficult to keep sterile, and used on active acne they spread it. What makes this work is a medical device, a sterile single-use tip, and a depth chosen by someone who’s looked at your skin.
+
When can I wear makeup again?
After 24 hours. Sun protection every day from the moment you leave — new collagen and sun damage are working against each other, and skipping the sunscreen undoes what you paid for.
