A shot is a smaller thing than a drip, and we price it that way. If what you actually need is fluids, a shot will not do it — say so at the desk and we will point you at the Drip Menu instead.
01 — The menu

Ten shots. Pick one on your way past.

Every shot includes the same five-minute health screen a drip does. Add any of them to a drip in the same visit for $20, less than the standalone price.

Anti-nausea (ondansetron) and anti-inflammatory (ketorolac) are not on this menu. They are clinician-directed: your nurse and the medical director decide whether they belong in your visit, and they cannot be booked online or bought over the desk.
Your nurse confirms what is right for you at your health screen.
About Lipo-MIC, plainly.

Lipo-MIC is methionine, inositol and choline with B12 — nutrients involved in how the body handles fat. It supports what you are already doing; it does not burn fat, melt fat, or cause weight loss on its own, and anybody selling it that way is misleading you. It makes sense as part of a plan — diet, movement, and where appropriate a physician-supervised program. See GLP-1 Weight Loss.

02 — Is it for me?

For the day you have ten minutes.

Shots suit people who come often, people who hate needles less than they hate sitting still, and people topping up between drips. They are not a substitute for a drip when you are genuinely dehydrated.

Book a shot if you…
  • Want the B12 or Lipo-MIC habit without an hour in a chair
  • Are between drips and want to keep something going
  • Are on a lunch break, or have kids in the car
  • Are already a Drip Club member — your monthly shot is included
Skip it, or ask first, if you…
  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Take a blood thinner, or have a bleeding disorder
  • Have kidney disease, or a history of kidney stones — it matters for some of these
  • Have ever reacted to one of the ingredients
  • Are hoping a shot will fix persistent tiredness — that is a reason to get tested, not to buy a shot. Ask us about a ferritin test, or see Iron Infusion
Your nurse screens for this before any shot, exactly as she would before a drip.
03 — How it feels

In, out, ten minutes.

0–5 min
Check-in and screen
A few questions and your blood pressure. Same screen as a drip — it's the part we don't skip.
5–7 min
The shot
Into the muscle of the upper arm, the hip or the thigh. A quick sting, a few seconds of pressure, a plaster. Most people say it is easier than a flu jab.
After
Straight back out
No downtime, no restrictions, drive yourself. Some people get a day of tenderness at the site, like after any injection. B12 turns your urine bright yellow for a day — that is normal and not a sign of anything.

06 — Questions

Asked at the desk, answered here.

What is the difference between a shot and a drip?
Route, volume and time. A shot goes into muscle and takes ten minutes; a drip goes into a vein with a bag of fluid and takes thirty to sixty. If you want hydration, you want a drip — a shot contains almost no fluid. If you want a specific nutrient on a regular basis, a shot is cheaper, faster, and easier to keep up.
How often can I get a B12 shot?
Most people who use B12 regularly come weekly or fortnightly, which is what the packs and the Drip Club are built around. Your nurse will ask what else you are taking and whether you have had your levels checked. If you are tired all the time, the useful next step is a blood test rather than a standing shot appointment.
Do Lipo-MIC shots make you lose weight?
Not on their own, and we will not tell you otherwise. Lipo-MIC is methionine, inositol and choline with B12 — nutrients involved in how the body handles fat. They support a plan you are already following. People who lose weight are doing the other work too, and often on a physician-supervised program. If weight is the goal, start with the free nurse consult on GLP-1 Weight Loss.
Does it hurt?
Less than most people expect. It is a small needle into muscle — a sting for a second or two, then pressure. The arm can be tender the next day, particularly with the thicker shots. Tell the nurse if you have a preferred site.
Can I get a shot without an appointment?
Yes. Shots are walk-in all day, and they are the easiest thing to fit in — most people are back in the car inside fifteen minutes. Booking still guarantees the slot at a set time.
Can I have more than one shot in a visit?
Usually, and it is common — B12 with Tri-Immune, say. Your nurse decides what is sensible in one visit and will tell you if something is better spaced out.
Are these covered by insurance?
No. They are cash-pay, like the drips. HSA and FSA cards are accepted for eligible services; whether a specific shot qualifies is between you and your plan administrator.
Can I bring the shots to my group booking?
Yes — the full Shot Bar travels with the nurse on a Mobile IV visit, and shots are what most groups add on the day.
