Privacy Policy

The short version
This website collects your name, phone number, email address, and which service you're interested in. That's it. We do not ask health questions anywhere on this website — not on the booking form, not on the contact form, not on the mobile IV quote form. Anything clinical happens in person, with a nurse, at your visit.
We use what you give us to contact you about your appointment. We don't sell it, and we don't share your mobile number with anyone for their marketing.
Who we are
This website is operated by Lux Med Clinic PLLC, doing business as LUX Med Clinic, 1213 N. Falls Blvd, Wynne, AR 72396 ("LUX Med", "we", "us"). Our medical director is Dr. Vaibhav Desai, MD. Questions about this policy go to hello@luxmedclinic.com or (870) 345-9905.
What we collect
When you book or contact us: your name, phone number, email address, the service you selected, your preferred day, and — optionally — which drip you're interested in. For a mobile IV quote we also ask the date, the location, how many people and the occasion.
When you text us: your mobile number, the keyword or message you sent, and our replies.
Automatically, when you browse: standard analytics — pages viewed, approximate location from your IP address, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. We use Google Analytics 4 for this. We also use Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors move through pages (clicks, scrolling and mouse movement) so we can see where the site is confusing. Clarity masks the text you type into forms; we do not use it to read what you enter. Both tools are loaded only after you accept analytics cookies in our cookie banner.
Cookies: the site sets strictly necessary cookies to work, and — only if you accept them — analytics cookies (Google, Microsoft) and marketing-measurement cookies. The cookie banner is where you choose, and you can change your choice at any time from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
What we deliberately do not collect
- Health conditions, symptoms, medications or medical history
- Anything about a treatment you have had
- Free-text boxes where you might type something medical — we don't have any
- Payment card numbers — payments are taken at the clinic or through Cherry, never on this site
This is a deliberate design decision, not an oversight. It's why the health screen happens at the clinic and why the forms are short.
What we do with it
- Confirm, change or remind you about an appointment or quote
- Answer the question you asked
- Send you a text or email you've asked for
- Keep an internal record of enquiries so we can follow up on one and not lose it
- Understand how the website is used, in aggregate
We rely on your consent for texts and non-essential cookies, and on our legitimate interest in running the clinic for the rest.
Who else sees it
We use a small number of service providers, each processing information only on our instructions:
- GoHighLevel — booking calendar, forms, text and email messaging, and our contact records
- Google (Analytics 4) and Microsoft (Clarity) — website analytics, as described above
- Hostinger — website hosting
- Cherry — payment plans. If you apply for financing, you deal with Cherry directly and Cherry's own privacy policy applies to that application; we see only whether you were approved and for how much.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone for their own advertising. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of a patient or staff member.
Your patient records are a separate thing
Anything created once you are a patient — your health screen, your treatment record, your labs — is a medical record. It is held by the clinic under the federal and Arkansas laws that protect medical records, and it is not collected, stored or transmitted through this website. Your rights over those records, including how to request a copy, are set out in our Notice of Privacy Practices, which you receive at your first visit and can request at any time at the clinic.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number — on a form, by texting a keyword such as DRIP, SHOT or MOBILE to +18703459905, or in person — you agree to receive text messages from LUX Med Clinic. There are two kinds:
- Appointment messages: confirmations, reminders, directions, what to eat and drink before an IV, and a follow-up after your visit.
- Occasional offers: a drip of the week, seasonal hours, or a member perk — only if you have opted in to them.
Message frequency varies; you can expect roughly 2–4 messages around each visit and no more than 4 promotional messages a month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying anything from us. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We never send health information by text.
How long we keep it
Enquiry and booking details are kept for as long as you are a patient or prospective patient and for 24 months after your last contact with us, then deleted or anonymised. Analytics data is kept for 14 months (Google Analytics' default). You can ask us to delete your contact details sooner — see "Your choices".
Your choices
- Texts: reply STOP at any time.
- Emails: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or tell us.
- Cookies: change your choice from "Cookie settings" in the footer.
- Your details: you can ask what contact information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to hello@luxmedclinic.com. We will answer within 30 days. Medical records are handled under the Notice of Privacy Practices, not this section.
We do not use your information for automated decisions about you, and we do not sell it, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front. If you live in a state with its own privacy law, you have at least the rights above.
Security
Forms are submitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to our booking and messaging system is limited to clinic staff with individual logins. No website is perfectly secure, and we do not ask you to send anything sensitive through this one.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. We treat adults only. If you believe a child has given us information, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will change the date at the top. If we change it in a way that matters to you, we will say so on this page for 30 days.
