Glowskin that looks like you slept.

Glow is a 50-minute IV drip at LUX Med Clinic in Wynne, AR with biotin, vitamin C and glutathione in a fluid base — the drip people book before a wedding, a reunion or a photo weekend. It's nurse-administered with a free health screen and costs $149; it supports the way skin, hair and nails look, and individual results vary.

01 — What's in the bag

Seven ingredients. Each one has a job.

Your nurse confirms what is right for you at your health screen.

01
Normal saline or Lactated Ringer's
Hydration is the part of "glowing skin" nobody wants to hear about and everybody notices. Skin that's short of fluid looks tired no matter what you put on it.
02
Biotin (vitamin B7)
The hair, skin and nails vitamin. It supports normal keratin structure — the material hair and nails are actually made of.
03
Vitamin C (ascorbic acid)
Your body needs vitamin C to make collagen. It's also an antioxidant, which is why it shows up in almost everything sold for skin.
04
Glutathione
An antioxidant your body makes on its own. We use it for antioxidant support and because people like how their skin looks in the days after. We do not sell glutathione as a skin-lightening treatment and we won't administer it for that purpose.
05
B-complex (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6)
The energy-metabolism vitamins. Skin that is short of them looks tired regardless of what you put on it.
06
Zinc
Involved in normal skin and nail structure, and one of the more common dietary shortfalls.
07
Magnesium
Muscle relaxation and general support — part of why people describe this drip as calming.
02 — Is it for me?

For the week before the photos.

Glow is a nutrition and hydration drip with a cosmetic reason for being. It doesn't treat a skin condition, and if you have one — persistent acne, rosacea, a rash, hair falling out in patches — that's a conversation for a clinician, not a bag. Take the drip finder.

Book Glow if you…
Have a wedding, reunion, shoot or holiday in the next week or two
Want a nutrition-side complement to your skincare, microneedling or PRP
Feel like your skin looks tired and flat in the winter, or after a hard season
Are already taking care of the basics and want the extra 10%
Skip it, or ask first, if you…
Are pregnant or breastfeeding
Have kidney disease, heart failure, or a history of kidney stones
Have asthma — glutathione has been associated with bronchospasm in some people, so the nurse will ask
Have G6PD deficiency, or have reacted to any ingredient listed above
Are hoping to lighten your skin tone — we don't offer that
Our nurse screens for all of this at check-in. When in doubt, come in and ask — the screen is free, and “not today” is an answer we are willing to give.
03 — How it feels

Your hour, minute by minute.

0–5 min
Check-in and screen.
A few questions, your blood pressure, and we confirm the drip and any boosts.
5–10 min
IV placement.
A small needle in the arm or the back of the hand. A quick pinch, then nothing. Numbing spray if you want it.
10–55 min
The drip.
Recline, blanket, water, Wi-Fi. Vitamin C sometimes gives a brief taste and a warm feeling. It passes; tell the nurse if it doesn't.
After
Back to your day.
No downtime, no restrictions, drive yourself home. Most people say the difference shows up in the following two or three days rather than the same afternoon — so book a few days before the event, not the morning of it.

06 — Questions

Asked at the desk, answered here.

Will this clear up my acne?
No. Glow is a nutrition and hydration drip, not a treatment for a skin condition. If acne is the problem, you need a plan for acne — that might be a dermatologist, and it might be microneedling and a skincare routine here. Come in and ask; we'd rather point you to the right thing than sell you the wrong one.
Does glutathione lighten your skin?
It's marketed that way in a lot of places. We don't offer it for that, we don't advertise it that way, and there's no product approved for skin lightening by IV. We use glutathione for antioxidant support. If skin lightening is what you're looking for, this isn't the clinic for it.
When will I see a difference, and how long does it last?
Most people notice their skin looks less tired within two to three days, and it fades over one to two weeks. That's why people book before an event rather than after. It's nutrition and hydration, so the effect is real but modest, and individual results vary — anyone promising a transformation from one bag is selling you something.
How often should I come?
Before events, or monthly if you want it as a routine — which is what the Drip Club is built around. There's no benefit to coming weekly, and your nurse will tell you so.
Can I get Glow the same day as microneedling?
Ask at the desk. Usually we'd space them: microneedling two to three weeks before an event, Glow three to five days before. Doing both on one day isn't dangerous, it's just not the best use of either.
Is biotin going to mess up my blood tests?
It can. Biotin can interfere with some lab assays, including thyroid and cardiac markers, which can make a result look wrong. If you have labs booked, tell your nurse here and tell whoever draws them. Usually it's a matter of timing.
Can I bring someone?
Yes — bridal parties do this a lot. Four or more and we'll bring the drips to you and waive the travel fee: see Mobile IV.
