01 — How it works

Gentle heat. Private room.

Forma V uses controlled radiofrequency to warm tissue gently, with the temperature monitored throughout. Most patients describe it as warm rather than hot.

01
Private consultation
A conversation with our clinician about what you’ve noticed and what Forma V can and can’t address. No pressure, and no need to have the words for it before you arrive.
02
Treatment
About 30 minutes. A small hand-piece delivers gentle, temperature-controlled radiofrequency.
03
Go
No downtime. Back to normal activity the same day, with a few simple aftercare notes.
04
The series
Typically three sessions, four weeks apart, then a maintenance session as needed.
A female registered nurse is available on request, and performs or assists under a treatment plan from Dr. Vaibhav Desai, MD. Ask when you book — it’s a normal request and nobody will make anything of it.

02 — Is it for me?

For the concerns women rarely get asked about.

Forma V is radiofrequency for intimate tissue, used within its manufacturer-cleared indications. Your clinician explains in plain language what it can and can’t help with — including when the answer is that something else would serve you better.

A good fit if you…

Have noticed changes after childbirth, or with age

Want a non-surgical option with no downtime

Would rather be treated in a private setting, with a female clinician if you prefer

Have questions you’d rather ask a clinician than a search engine

Wait, or ask first, if you…

Are pregnant, or recently postpartum — timing is discussed at consultation

Have an active infection

Have a pacemaker, defibrillator or certain implants

Are looking for a surgical result — we’ll refer you to Lux Lipo in Jonesboro rather than sell you a series that can’t get there

What we won’t claim. You’ll find radiofrequency marketed elsewhere with promises about sexual satisfaction and about “tightening”. We describe what the device is cleared for and what patients typically report, and nothing beyond that. If a page makes you a promise about your sex life, be sceptical of the page.
03 — What to expect

Before, during, and after.

Downtime stated honestly. If a treatment needs a week to look good, we tell you so you can plan around it.

01
Day of
Mild warmth for a few hours. Normal activity, and you can drive yourself.
02
Week 1
No downtime; aftercare is minimal and your clinician will go through it with you.
03
After sessions two and three
Most patients report the changes they came for around here. Timing varies from person to person.
04
Maintenance
One session every six to twelve months, as needed.
Individual results vary.
04 — Pairs with V-Tone

Two treatments, two different tissues.

Forma V uses radiofrequency and works on tissue. V-Tone uses electrical muscle stimulation and works on the pelvic-floor muscles. They address different things, which is why they’re often done in the same visit rather than instead of one another.

If bladder leakage on coughing, laughing or exercise is what brought you here, V-Tone is the one that addresses muscle strength. Which you need — one, both, or neither — is a consultation question, and plenty of women leave with a plan for something else entirely.

What is Forma V, and what is it for?
It’s a non-surgical treatment that uses controlled radiofrequency to warm intimate tissue gently, within the manufacturer’s cleared indications. Women come to us about changes after childbirth or with age, about comfort, and about dryness. What it can do for your particular situation is a conversation for the consultation, where a clinician can actually ask you questions.
+
Does it hurt?
No. It’s warmth rather than heat, the temperature is monitored throughout, and there’s no anaesthesia because none is needed. Say the word and the intensity comes down.
+
How many sessions will I need?
Usually three, four weeks apart, then maintenance every six to twelve months. Your plan is set at your consultation, and if partway through it’s clear it isn’t doing what you hoped, we’d rather say so than sell you the rest of the series.
+
Is it safe after childbirth?
It’s one of the most common reasons women ask about it, and timing is the thing that matters — how long it’s been, how the delivery went, whether you’re breastfeeding, and what your own doctor or midwife has said. Bring all of that to the consultation. Sometimes the answer is “yes, but not yet”.
+
Is it embarrassing?
Less than you’re expecting. Private room, a clinician who does this every week, a female registered nurse available on request, and a calendar entry that reads “Private Consultation”. Most patients say the hardest part was making the appointment.
+
Forma V or V-Tone — which do I need?
Forma V works on tissue; V-Tone works on the pelvic-floor muscles. If leakage when you cough, laugh or exercise is the problem, that’s usually a muscle question. If it’s changes in comfort or tissue, that’s usually this one. Many women have both, often in the same visit, and the consultation is where it’s sorted out.
+
Will anyone know why I’m here?
Only your clinician and Dr. Desai. Your booking, confirmation and reminder all say “Private Consultation”, and your receipt says “clinic services” unless you ask otherwise.
+
What if I want a surgical result?
Then we’ll tell you, and refer you to our sister clinic, Lux Lipo in Jonesboro, where the surgical and advanced procedures are. Selling you three sessions of something that can’t get you there would waste your money and your time.
